Recently, Profile has been working with Design Engineers on thin wall precision aluminum tubes that are annealed. The annealed aluminum tubes are very malleable and allow the surgeon to easily bend and shape the device during use. The flexibility these precision tubes offer is a great advantage over traditional stainless tubes that cannot be bent.
